The committee’s cost management is too high and somewhat overly centralized. I suggest simplifying it, for example, by requiring at least two endorsements and positive feedback from existing group members (which could even be documented on the SF WG’s FS, passing on trust among each other).

I think you can set a total budget and a limit on the number of people, and then have people apply to become fixed posts, and if the limit is exceeded, then shrink in equal proportions
