The existing format is clear but requires registering and renewing a domain for each Web3 topic, costing around $17 per domain annually.
It’s challenging to create a series of tutorials, as users may not know if a specific Web3 topic has a domain.
There’s a potential risk of losing domain control if phishers register a Web3 topic domain.
I propose the following:
Register a new domain, e.g., MyFirstWeb3.xyz or MyFirstWeb3.info
Rebrand to MyFirstWeb3, with the Chinese translation “我的 Web3 初体验”
Use subdomains for each topic, such as nft.myfirstweb3.xyz for MyFirstNFT and layer2.myfirstweb3.xyz for MyFirstLayer2.
Build a new index page for MyFirstWeb3, linking all tutorials to the homepage at myfirstweb3.xyz, enabling learners to explore other Web3 topics.
This approach saves money and offers flexibility. The only downside is a slight loss in semantics; MyFirstNFT seems more intuitive than NFT.MyFirstWeb3.
No idea which one is the official one, as we might have two domains pointing to the same content
When contract.myfirstweb3.xyz is online, MyFirstContract.info might be registered by others and try to sell back to LXDAO at a higher price as we have to buy. If we pre-register it but unused for a long-time, this gonna waste of money for the domain renewal fee.
