Thanks to its inherent openness, the Web3 ecosystem serves as an excellent testing ground, providing space for the emergence of various new concepts and mechanisms. The technical mechanisms of blockchain and the underlying economic system offer the possibility for the long - term sustainable development of Web3 public goods.

Looking back at the reports completed in previous cooperation with GCC, we delved deep into and attempted to clearly define the concept of public goods within the context of the Web3 ecosystem. There are two core issues in building a sustainable public goods ecosystem:

  2. How is the existing funding allocated?

LXDAO takes supporting the sustainable development of the public goods ecosystem as its core mission. Before proposing feasible solutions to the above problems, it is essential to conduct a comprehensive and in - depth study of the real situation of the current Web3 public goods ecosystem. Therefore, we plan to continuously track the progress of these two key issues through a series of coherent and in - depth reports.

Through in - depth exploration of these funding sources, we can gain experience for constructing a sustainable funding supply system.

  2. How is the funding for public goods allocated? Probe deeply into the various protocols and organizations involved in the allocation of public goods funding. Comprehensively analyze the specific allocation mechanisms adopted by these protocols and organizations. Meanwhile, conduct in - depth research on how to determine the impact of public goods during the allocation process. This involves a quantitative assessment of multiple aspects, such as the positive externalities brought by public goods, their promoting effect on the overall development of the Web3 ecosystem, and the enhancement of their influence on the community.

  3. Who and how maintain public goods? Conduct in - depth research on the entities responsible for maintaining current Web3 public goods, whether it is the developer community, volunteer teams, or specific professional maintenance organizations. At the same time, sort out the maintenance mechanisms of these public goods to showcase the current situation and problems of public goods maintenance.
