In the past S9, the governance team optimized the community meeting system and implemented multiple governance SOPs to promote minimal governance within the community, while also completing the initial phase of the community incentive system.
In S10, the governance team will continue to promote minimal governance and gradually transition towards automation, while restarting narrative discussions to enhance observation and participation in international ecological governance.
The governance team will apply to the community for a total budget of 18,000 LXPU in S10.

What We Did in S9
- Promoted Narrative: Collaborated with Uncommons to prepare the inaugural session of narrative-focused brutal co-learning.
- Activated Collaboration: Established a stand-up meeting mechanism in line with the activation plan to accelerate collaboration efficiency between different groups.
- Minimized Governance: Completed a series of SOPs for the community, including Notion, interest declarations, FS registration system, payroll processes, etc.
- Community Incentive Program: Finalized overflow incentives, retrospective incentives, and BD incentives; discussions were held concerning incentives for early contributors.
Areas for Improvement
- The progress on governance research matters has been slow, with no relevant output.
- There’s a noticeable decrease in the atmosphere of community governance, leading to reduced voting rates.
- Insufficient observation of governance events in the external international ecosystem.
S10 Main Work Plan
Core Work
Enhance international governance observation, develop a governance roadmap, reduce community governance costs, and gradually transition the community towards automated governance.
Specific Tasks
- Collaborate with Unco to hold narrative brutal co-learning sessions, creating an atmosphere for narrative discussions within the community.
- Promote the LXDAO governance roadmap and complete updates to the Handbook.
- Continue advancing minimal governance by optimizing accounting, multi-signature management, payroll processes, etc., based on the S9 community governance SOP. The governance team will be responsible for statistics, public disclosure, and distribution, gradually transitioning towards automation.
- Increase participation in international ecological governance, solidifying governance experience through the process of collect-discuss-experiment-output. Weekly meetings will include governance observation reports to foster discussions within the community regarding governance.
- Continue to explore the implementation of the LXDAO community incentive system, with S10 focusing on the practical implementation of retrospective incentives and early contributor incentives.
- Optimize the project initiation process and project classification for virtual groups/projects, forming a transparent and publicly disclosed governance system for application, voting, sub-fund management, and disclosure.
